Yesterday we visited the Edithvale & Parkdale Hubs in the City of Kingston which are currently under construction. Here are a few images!
Jeavons Landscape Architects have designed and documented both outdoor spaces which are extensive. The Edithvale Hub project includes a large rooftop playspace as well as a ground level area. The rooftop has required careful detailing and collaboration with Hede Architects and the engineers ( Kerrsulting ) to ensure that sand, softfall and natural play opportunities are still available to children playing on the upper level.
The Parkdale Hub building was designed by Haskell Architects and the landscape construction is currently under way by Melbourne Landscape Co.
