Jeavons have designed another new playground for the City of Kingston, with the residents reaping the rewards of the hardworking and dedicated council staff.
The playground is located at Roy Dore Reserve, Carrum and further information can be found on City of Kingston's website.

The playground has a pirate boat under shade sails with plenty of looting and mayhem to keep young pirates preoccupied. Challenging bridge nets, cannons, slides, surf boards and a treasure map make up this exciting playground. Children are also encouraged to explore the natural play elements found in the sand play area and the long dry creek bed filled with interesting and quirky sculptures. Adults are not forgotten with a fitness exercise station adjacent to the playground.

Bicentennial Park Playground (Mount Chelsea) is the 2011 winner of the Parks and Leisure Australia, Victoria/Tasmania Regional and National Play Space Award of Excellence.

Bicentennial Park Playground was a joint effort with City of Kingston from start to finish. Steve Perumal from the City of Kingston and Leong Khoo from the Jeavons Team led the design and construction aspects for this project.

They were ably supported by All Play, Urban Plumb & Scape, Nicholas Dunand, Herb Jercher, and Kompan. We also acknowledge the contributions from Scope Victoria during consultation and the many other parties that have been involved in this exciting project.

We are proud to receive this award together with the City of Kingston and strive to continue providing award winning designs!
